US Army, proudly served in the desert from 5 Mar - 1 Oct 91, mostly stationed in Dhahran. My duties during hours started out doing Postal and when 1241 Postal out of Tx went home, I change to 3rd P&A and worked in the S-1 section. During off hours, I volunteered as a D.J. for Hard Rock Cafe - Al Khobar. I was heading to work at the cafe for the last day when the owner got into an accident and died on the way to open up the Cafe. After that I teamed up with the USO during off duty hours and travel to bring some soldier (regardless of branch) a little music.

Since I have been home, I have been getting headaches that last 1 1/2 weeks at a time and visit me every 6-7 weeks like clockwork. These headaches are worst that migraines. I also have small blisters on my right hand and left foot. As they pop, a new one shows up. My ears, and my eyes are like they use to be.

On the good side, I'm married, have 2 children and the nightmares have reduced.

I think of the people I've met while over there often, military and civilians.
