Hello, My name is Bella. I was in the Army from 1989 until 1993. I was stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. I was in a supply unit, I was fuel support. I was deployed to Saudi in Sept. of 91, and returned sometime after the war ended, I can't remember the date. But it felt like my unit was one of the last to leave the country.

I believe we were based at Daharahn(Im not sure of the spelling) I was fuel support, we had several fuel points at various locations. The fuel point being closest to the base was referred to as tent city. we refueled trucks and tacticle vehicles before the troops headed out to thier destinations. I probably saw many of you at that fuel point. A few of us we attatched to the 101st and hauled fuel and weapons up north. We were never far from the bombings because I could hear them continuesly. We were on the road for a long time before ending up in Iraq. We were there until the war ended.

I have alot of memories but I will not ramble on any more. I feel for all the vets and services members that are ill from Desert Storm. My problems are nothing compared to what many of you are goig through. I have had servical cancer, memory loss, vision loss, and my feet are degenerating. So when people or doctors say there is no gulf war syndrome I pray that God opens thier eyes and thier hearts to all of us whose lives havent been the same since Operation Desert Storm.
