I was stationed in Ryadh, Saudi Arabia from November 29, 1990 - March 14, 1991 as a Personnel Specialist, 823rd RED HORSE Civil Engineering Squadron United States Air Force.

Ever since my return in March of 1991, I have experienced shortness of breath, heart flutters, and high blood pressure. I also have bleeding gums since my return. Never had any of these problems before I went to the Gulf.

For the most part, my life has been wonderful. With the exception of the health problems, and my divorce from my first wife, I can't complain. When civilians realize that I served in the Gulf War, there is a feeling of surprise, followed by curiosity, and the routine questions.
