Who We Are

RESCIND,Inc. Is a group of people dedicated to repealing existing stereotypes about chronic immunological and neurological diseases. We have claimed for seven years that our brave gulf war vets are suffering from a condition very similar to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Syndrome and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. RESCIND, Inc. links these four conditions. they overlap between 50 and 90% of the time. our site is www.geocities.com/capitolhill/4277. Recently, Dr. William Reeves, of the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta led two different studies. One of gulf war veterans from the Pennsylvania National Guard, and another filled with Air Force veterans from the Gulf War era. In both studies he found that 39% of the veterans had a "mild to moderate case of a CFS like illness." and that 6% had a "severe" case of CFS like illness. We believe that these conditions must be studied separatedly ,but must also be studied together. And that all the information should be shared. if some of the bravest, strongest soldiers in history suffer from the same condition as hundreds of thousands of teachers, nurses, and students, then we have a national emergency on our hands. tom hennessy, jr.
